Europe’s hot, dry summer is turning into a stress test for investors. Poor harvests, exceptionally low river levels and production disruptions show that climate change is no longer a risk confined to the distant future. It is already affecting the economy. For investors, the question is becoming more urgent: how long will it take before that physical damage starts showing up in asset valuations?
